Join the CERT Walkabout October 1st

On October 1st CERT will conduct our 4th NEN Walk-about. This means that several CERT members will be walking about parts of the NorthEast Neighborhood we haven’t previously visited. We will be distributing disaster preparedness information, information about how to join Community Emergency Response Teams (the volunteer arm of first responders), and information about NEN.

If you’d like to join us, we’ll be meeting at the eastern parking lot of the First Church of the Nazarene (near our NEN/CERT cache) at 16th St. NE & East (that’s the closest cross street) at 12:30 in the afternoon, come rain or come shine.

If you can’t make it, maybe we’ll see you when we’re out & about!
